Deleting junk mail

I have a problem when trying to delete my junk mail after i delete it pops back on again i can not move any of it either can any one help.

The Metro app? What kind of account, Hotmail, GMail, etc.?

It is called live so i think it is Hotmail

It may be that something is blocking the server to refresh via sync, therefore it reappears. Does the delete option work in other boxes in all accounts if applicable?

What anti-virus are you using? Have you changed that recently?

only anti virus is what came with win 8 and yes all other accounts work fine.

That's weird if it's just that folder. You may want to go through this tutorial, especially the app troubleshooter.

I have just found a update in app store installed it and all OK can i set up auto install, as you can probably tell i am a bit PC thick.

OK, Dell. You got it solved. We all overlook that kind of stuff, for it is new.

LOL! I didn't know one has the setting for "Automatic update". I learned something. I see it's on by default. At least in 8.1. Perhaps not in 8.
