Can't delete contacts in Windows Live Mail

I have 2 contacts listed in Windows Live Mail that canít be deleted....all other contacts can be deleted OK.
The 2 contacts are marked as Favourites and originally come from my Skype account....no idea how they came to be in my email contacts list.

Anyone know how I can remove them from my email contacts list without removing them from Skype also.

    Running Windows 8.

    Thanks

somewhere in the settings of skype you allowed WLM to have access, go back into the skye settings and see if you can fix it there.
If not, you might have to remove the contacts in skype, then they should remove from WLM, then just put them back but you still have to go into skype's settings and see where you have a check mark to allow Skype to put your contacts in Wlm and remove the checkmark

Thank you for your suggestions...which I will follow just as soon as I find the settings for Skype.

Hello Guys, Just a quickie, I find the position of the delete annoying, I'm sure I will get used to it but I'd like it on the middle of the toolbar so I can click up to delete then down to click on next mail. I can see a way of moving the toolbar buttons around like you could in Vista. Does...
Converting from Windows Mail in a Vista PC to Windows 8 Mail (part of Windows Essentials). My contacts in Windows Vista are files with .contact extension. Looks like import to Win 8 mail is limited to .csv .wab .vcf type files. Is there a way to import the .contact files? Thanks.
I want to know if Win8 mail (Windows Mail) can import my contact list from Outlook 2010. I have Outlook 2010 installed on Win8 and I've imported my contacts and they are visible in Outlook. I want to import them into Windows Mail, if that's even possible. Thanks in advance!
