Wow...I always thought Google Chrome or Firefox would have more votes. It seemed more popular according to many sites that I have read. Maybe it was before IE 10 came out. Lol.

Well, it's difficult to do polls on any support site, for you'll get biased votes. Research sites are probably best.

Personally, I think in the "war of browsers" I think IE is winning out.

Agree. It is all about security and MS has put a lot of effort into it.

Here's an interesting, current article on the thread subject:

    http://m.infoworld.com/d/application...rowsers-222044

Overall,IE remained flat with approximately 56 percent of the user share of all browsers, implying that few if any of IE10's gains came from people switching browser brands. About 39 percent of all Windows users ran a non-Microsoft browser in June, slightly less than in May.

I would be more inclined to use IE10, if
1). It had ability to sync bookmarks, bookmark bar and history (without having to be on 8 and logging in via MS account)
2). be cross platform, on my android, on Linux, etc...and do #1.

If you don't mind, please give a reason. I find that IE is slow and not secure. No offense.
Newer IE (10/11) both faster than the previous versions and I prefer the generic fonts in IE, I like the speed of Opera 15 as well but at the end of the day, browser choice is all about preference and what you are accustomed to.

You're not a fan of using MS account to sign into desktop PC or other devices?

Firefox. most compatibility and least artifacts across the vast diversity of websites.

has the most plugins. has the syncing across devices. the easiest to tailor the UI (you can put anything anywhere without modifying files!).

I do wish it had the speed of Chrome though (Chrome is a close second) but Firefox has gotten faster and faster.

any syncing on any platform requires you to be logged into something. what you're really saying is that you're fine with being logged into your Google account but not your Microsoft account.
