I didn't know there was a difference, (with the exception of this forum's postings), I thought you could create a hyperlink the same way in all uses. It seems when I was using XP it wasn't that difficult, but I can't see anything on this Win8 in reference to hyperlinking. If there is a difference between email systems, I use Metro Mail & Gmail. I actually don't know what I would call my Metro Mail system, my ISP is VirginMedia who supply my emails, but the title is Ntlworld at the head of my email page. What about if I wanted to create a hyperlink in WordPad? Thanks for your replies!

For wordpad you can just type in the url & save as RTF & open the saved rtf & click on the url.

I don't use wordpad much.
