red x in email on Outlook 2013

There are red 'x'es in email on Outlook 2013.

However when I log in as Administrator, I can see images in email without red x.

The value of "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders\Cache" is "Z:\Temporary Internet Files".

And I tried "safe mode" way - open outlook in safe mode and close and open - but it's not working.

Any helpful comment would be appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

Do you mean this red x on the picture below?

Just point your mouse and click "click here to download ..." and the red x should disappear

Actually I installed ramdisk, and place "Temporary Internet Explorer Files" folder on "z:" drive. And I found the temp folder of outlook is "Content.Outlook" in "z:\Temporary Internet Explorer Files\Content.Outlook".

About the permmission of this drive is problem. Because I made this ramdisk drive as Administrator. So I've change privilegeses and ownership to my account.

Unfortunatelly, even though I did what I can do, "Cannot display linked images" problem was not resolved.

It's my first time seeing that problem with Outlook. Not sure about the RAMdisk drive, but is your Outlook installed on the RAMdisk or on your main HDD? Try temporarily moving your outlook data files (.ost ) and your temporary internet files to the same drive as to where Outlook is installed and see if that resolves the issue.

It is a security feature on Outlook. You have to change your settings under Tools>>>Options>>>Security (or Trust Center depending on Outlook version) and configure your Outlook to automatically download images on your incoming email messages.

    Thanks for your continous interest.

I've installed OUTLOOK on main hdd.

And I couldn't find outlook data files (.ost ) and how to move it. But I can try to move and restore temporary internet files to the same drive as to where Outlook is installed, and I'll post here result.

fourthofjuly / I alerady did it, but it didn't work.

    I fixed this problem.

I re-typing the path of "Temporary InternetExplorer Files" at Internet Expolorer's option box, and reboot.
