Study: Google's Chrome leads with most Windows vulnerabilities - Neowin

Not surprising, but google chrome is the single most vulnerable Windows app out there. This I can verify as I've had to deal with malware afflicted systems that all had chrome as the default browser over IE. EVERY SINGLE TIME. Such a pain the crotch to deal with every six to eight months, "Oh my computer is slow again, can you fix it again this time?" Sure..... let me idiotproof your install of Windows so chrome doesn't get reinstalled again.... :p

Hmmm, depsite these numbers my experiences with Chrome have been nothing but positive. The cleanups I've had to do have been older versions of IE on XP and Vista.

I use almost nothing but Chrome. I use the sync feature extensively across all of my machines...even the Surface Pro.

I only use chrome, and Ive had no nproblems with it, my only problems come from installing software that force or trick me into installing their ads or toolbars, but chrome lets me easily disable most of them, and spybot removes the rest..

Seems like every webiste wants to make you ijnstall their installer, and when you uncheck the boxes that want to add junk to your browser you STILL have to hit (decline) which makes it look like youre aborting the installation so you just hit (next)..

Theres alot of BS out there but alot of it can be avoided with proper internet security software and reading everything before hitting that (next) button..

I use Avast free Spybot search and destroy and Malwarebytes Antimalware, and theyre awesone!

:ditto: Use almost nothing but Chrome and no issues. If IE had extensions like Chrome, I consider using it. But until then, I'll stick with Chrome.

Interesting that Google, and not MSFT, is the one coming under more negative press for vulnerabilities of late.
