I've searched the forums & via Google & can't seem to find a solution to this problem. I've been trying to import an ICS calendar file into my online Live or Hotmail Calendar, to also use in Outlook Office, but each time I import the ics file from my computer or SkyDrive, the import fails with the following message. I've checked what the message is asking me to check, but those settings are fine & so is the internet connection. I can import into the Outlook on PC My Calendar, but not for the Live Calendar.

The same error occurs no matter if I import into a New Calendar or Existing Calendar.
Any ideas?

  • Make sure the web address https://bay03.calendar.live.com is correct.
  • Look for the page with your search engine.
  • Refresh the page in a few minutes.
  • Make sure TLS and SSL protocols are enabled. Go to Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Settings > Security

  • Check that all network cables are plugged in.
  • Verify that airplane mode is turned off.
  • Make sure your wireless switch is turned on.
  • See if you can connect to mobile broadband.
  • Restart your router.
