When composing an email when I press the TAB key the cursor defaults to send. How can I TAB text across within the body of the email.

Welcome to our group John.
As far as I know when you're using a web based e-mail program such as yahoo, Gmail, hotmail etc. The tab key is programmed as a shortcut key to the send button.
While using a IMAP or pop 3 e-mail program on your computer, the tab key will work as you want it to.
So, you just have to hit the SPACEBAR a few times like you've been doing.
