IE Metro and order of favorites

Hi,

Does anyone know how to change the order of the favorites in IE Metro? They are not in the same order that they are in the desktop version, and I don't see any means of changing their order in metro. Even the pinned sites don't seem to appear in the same order that I have them on the start menu.

Hmm. No, I mean the favorites in IE metro are not in the same order as the favorites in IE desktop.





See what I mean? I would like to be able to change the order of the favorites in metro, but clicking them and dragging doesn't work. I know the order looks close here, but as I move further down the list it's way off. I had assumed changing the order of them in IE desktop would work, but it does not.

After you changed your order favorites did you log out or restart the computer? Just closing the browser normally should be sufficient but, metro is not normal.

Yeah, I tried all of that. This really doesn't make sense to me--one would naturally expect IE metro to order the favorites as they are in IE desktop.

My theory, is that being an app it's been stripped of all the normal functionality one would find in desktop mode which would make sense because those apps where designed for the touch screen environment because of the not so powerful cpu and limited hdd space those tablets have. It's the less is more attitude....again just my theory.
