Solved High cpu use with java 7.13

Hi all,
I am experiencing very high cpu usage with java 7 update 13. I am a paying member at pogo.com and about 70% of their games use java. I have removed all traces of java completely and started with a fresh install of java 7.13. I have tried with chrome based browsers ( dragon and iron ) and firefox...all have the same issue...java alone is using between 60-90% of my cpu...I am using a new dell I15 laptop with dual core 1.7ghz, 4 gb ram, window 8 standard factory install...any ideas, thoughts, comments???

So, whats the problem ? you want java to be powered by air ? there is no problem.

thank you for your valuable, in depth insight...the problem is that prior to this update, java only used 4-8% of my cpu...now it's up to 80%...i asked java, they blame the browser...i asked the browser companies, they blame java....and they both fall back and say it's my system and configuration

Well, now it's better you could begin with posting example, what game uses so much cpu, then we could try that game on our own computers.

No, you can log off and then try free java games, or try java games on other sites.

newer versions of java have corrected this
