Hi, I'm new to this site and only joined really to seek an answer to the above question. I am a Mum and am growing very concerned about the sites my son may be visiting. He has his own user profile on our notebook with Windows 8 on which he has set to Delete Browser History on Exit. He is too savvy and old for us to put parental controls on and in a way I'd rather not force him to look at sites elsewhere, where I have no chance of monotiring, such as on his phone.
So (uneasily putting moral concerns re. his privacy to one side, as we have already tried speaking to him and remain genuinely concerned for his safety) we would like to be able to periodically view the sites his is clearly seeking to hide from us, without him being aware of it (i.e without having to do a complete system restore to an earlier point). Is there any such way of doing this in Windows 8/ Internet Explorer 10? I don't think he has the 'InPrivate' browsing thing on but if he has, would there be a similar way of recovering the history?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks.
From an increasingly anxious mum!
