This on my netbook with W8...

After installed some updates now desktop Internet Explorer has disappeared. I still have the metro one, but, due to my netbook resolution I cannot run it.

Now I got a error after booting saying "The screen resolution is too low for Browser Choice to run" and I cannot uninstall KB976002 (browser choice) as the uninstall button won't appear.

How can I recover IE?

Thanks

First press start and R together. There should be a popup that says "Run". Next type "c:\program files\internet explorer" with the quotes. Then find iexplore.exe. Right click it and click "create shortcut". Next you should see a popup that says "Windows can't create a shortcut here. Do you want the shortcut to be placed on the desktop instead" Click Yes. Now you have internet explorer on your desktop again.
