google chrome refusing to connect to sync server

alright, its not just me thats having this issue with the sync server, I checked with a buddy of mine on yahoo, he's reporting the same issue, he's also clear across the country on the west coast.

can anyone whose using google chrome, if they're having issues with the sync server, please report this error here?
