I am really enjoying Windows 8 so far. It took some getting used to, and I still believe it is more ideally suited for touch-interface, but I still enjoy using it and updating my computer usage habits because of it.

That being said, I don't seem to understand the Mail app that comes on the start page. I have added my accounts, and can check them accordingly, and I really enjoy it. But when I get new mail, I get a popup in the upper-right hand corner of the screen about the new mail. My question is this:

Can I make the Mail Icon show my new mail, (in a live-tile fashion) much like when I get new messages the friends live-tile shows those messages. Is that possible? Even if it is just the title/subject, or author that would be a nice customization and benefit to me.

Thanks for reading, and sorry if this belongs in the customize section and not here.
