So, how am I expected to use the non-desktop view!?

So, how am I expected to use the non-desktop view!?

I don't know what the new 'view' is called on IE 10, but after getting into ONE page, there is no way of choosing another tab or page or settings or anything. What precisely is one expected to do with it? No amount of running the cursor off-page helps one iota. Is this my browser, my computer or again, just win 8 and the lovely '10' (HA!) jumping in without telling anyone, especially the first-time-user, how to do anything.
Anyone else found this? Any help? My Win 8 and computer really doesn't get on with Chrome or Firefox as it shuts down pretty quickly. (Don't you think that there would be stable programs ready to hit the road running?!)

    Hi,
Right click on the page and try the symbols, I am sure that you are aware of the Tutorial section but if you are in doubt, post your questions and someone will help you.

Tutorial!? There is no help on win 8 which comes out to help, or is helpful. The more I try to use Office 2010, I just want 2007 back!

So, how does one find a tutorial?

I tried the right-click, and yes, now I see it. Thanks. The right-click is the only one I didn't try, because I didn't want to edit the part where the pointer was pointing to...this is what right-click is for. I Don't like it. I like tabs. Why click and click and click, when you just move the pointer to the tab and click once? Illogical nonsense.
Kelly LeBrock is looking a bit weather-worn too. And not in a good way. Hey ho.

If you don't like the new Metro just use the desktop version of IE and you won't miss the previous version of Windows, sorry I should have mentioned the "Tutorial section" of this forum, it's a matter of getting used to the new OS, once you are familiar with it you'll enjoy Windows 8.
BTW, it's Daryl Hannah you're looking at that page.

OMG...Bit of an old Trout, now!

I shall take a good look at the tutorial section. Sometimes it takes me 10 minutes just to find a button! I can't even move or add buttons to toolbars.

    Thank you, Brummyfan.

One would click on the Tutorials link at the top of every page on this site. From there, you can use the tutorial index, search for a tutorial, look in categories, and look by alphabetical order, etc.......

I've just managed to figure out that it's mostly the americans who are saying 'tut' - meaning 'tutorial'. In old Blighty, 'tut' means 'rubbish' or worse! Toot is better, but also has several other meanings in general usage...! 'Tewt' gets the pronunciation correct although 'tt' is my favourite. Does anyone else care?
