mail by microsoft frustration

I like the Windows 8 mail by microsoft app but it has one quirk that is driving me crazy. Maybe I've missed a simple setting to get it to stop.

When I'm reading my mail it will refresh every few minutes. My inbox list disappears, the little circle twirls and when the list comes back I'm back at the top with the most recently received email highlighted. I have to scroll back to the email I was reading and hope I get it read before another refresh.

I have the account set to check for mail every 30 minutes. Email notifications is turned off. Any suggestions?

it seems the mail app has some bugs in it, why don't you download and install Windows Live Essentials 2012, through Internet Explorer, pick Windows Live Mail 2012 only unless you want the photo gallery which happens to be a nice app too, it works much better than the mail app and you can also back it up if something goes wrong.
