Mail tile - I can't add my comcast email account.

When I go into the mail tile, it tell me to choose you email provider to add my account. Comcast is not an available option so I go to the "Other" account. When I type in my account information and press connect, it says "adding your account" but then it just sits there and acts like its searching for the account but does not do anything after that. I was wonder if this is a problem with my mail tile or doesn't Microsoft acknowledge Comcast as an email provider.

Instead of using the mail tile how about downloading and installing Windows live essentials 2012. You can install comcast on there

The tile doesn't care who the provider is, it only cares that it is IMAP and you have the correct username/password and IMAP/SNMP servers listed. Look at the help section from Comcast and it will probably show you how to configure IMAP. It might also show you that IMAP is not available, that is a Comcast issue and not a windows issue.

you cannot set it up IMAP you can only set up comcast as a pop and smtp account, as said if you download and install Windows Live Essentials and pick Windows Live Mail (you do not have to install all of WLE, you can set up comcast there as a pop account just like I have on mine
