Java issues with all Browsers

Hello all,

I have tried the various options in this site.. And I still get Java not detected. I have tried to install the 32bit and 64bit. Chrome, IE10 and Firefox Java does not work in.

This is a factory install of Win8. When I go to Java's website It is not detected. Tells me only in Desktop.
(that is the only place I have ran any browser..)

The sites I go to use Java to access the Webcam and Microphone..

Any ideas please? This is frustrating.. Microsoft blames Java.. Java blames the manufacture of the laptop. Manufacture blames Java.. so I get no support!
