Unable to Sign In To Hotmail

I'm using Window 8. This occurs with Firefox, Google Chrome and Internet Explorer on a WIndows 7 and a Windows 8 system.

I have yet to sign into Hotmail. Every time I get the same error saying the was a problem signing in. I keep clicking Report the problem. "There was a problem signing in..... I continue to send a report to Microsoft using the link but so far it has done no good.

I simply want to check but out but I'm haven;t had any luck. I have yet to even see what Hotmail is like so I can decide if I want to use it.

I don't get any sign in prompts because I'm already signed in with my Windows Live account.
I found a phone number for Hotmail Live support and they wanted $80.00. They must be nuts!

    Any suggestions?

The Windows live account is the same as my Hotmail account.

When I sign into my Windows 8 machine it's also signing me into my Windows live account which is a Hotmail address I've had for years. It should be the same for you I would think.

When I start Bing and click 'Hotmail" at the top I get nowhere. Only the error.

I'm not sure where you are trying to get into your Hotmail from but, have you tried the App on the App page that says Mail on it?

That is the one that connects to my Hotmail.

You should also be able to open Hotmail from an MSN browser on the normal desktop.

I opened the Mail app and added my Hotmail account using my Windows Live username and password. After creating the account nothing is displayed on the screen except a blank navigation pane on the left. The account exist because if I try creating another one it tells me i already created the account
