Solved Multiple web pages in IE 10?

It seems that with IE 10, you cannot open multiple web pages in one window. I can open several documents that I made with Word and Excel but not web pages. Is there a way to do this? If not, it seems like a dumb decision to take that feature away when it can be done with previous versions of IE.:(

Once the browser is open to a webpage, subsequent webpages will either replace the current page or open in a new tab (or a whole new window). It depends on how the website is coded. You can always right-click on the link to the page you want to open and choose "Open link in new tab" to keep it all in the same window.

I can right-click on any link on a web page and choose, "Open in new window". The problem is if I want to open another website in a new window, I see no way of doing that. I can click on "New tab" and type in the website address, but it will close the window I am on. So

Oh, I get it (I think). You can open a new instance of IE10 by middle-clicking on the IE icon in the taskbar and then navigate to the new website in the new instance of IE10.

Or maybe you want to do something completely different than that and I'm just not getting it? :)

Light just went on. You mentioned Word and Excel. Do you mean like how Office applications used to let you have two documents open in the same instance (or window)? I never knew you could do that in older versions of IE. It's damn near impossible to do in newer versions of Office now as far as I can tell....

Yes, that is exactly what I want to do. I just didn't know about the middle clicking. I tried it and it works just perfect. Thank you.
