Outlook 2010 Not Working Properly

I have Windows 8 and Outlook 2010, in which I have 3 e-mail accounts, all with the same ISP, all are pop3. The first account works fine. However, the other 2 wont download the messages from the server. I know there are messages there, because I can log in and see them on mi ISP webmail option. I can send e-mails from all the accounts correctly, however, the other 2 wont download them from the server.

I have another computer in which is running Windows 7 and all three accounts work just fine. I have checked the settings, all are fine. I have even contacted my ISP and had them check the settings. They too concluded that it appears to be a Windows 8 issue.


In an attempt to resolve, I have uninstalled and reinstalled Office and Outlook 2010, however it doesn't resolve the issue.


Any suggestions?

I saw that posting before I entered my question. I looked through quite a few actually with various other problems, but none were like mine. So I thought perhaps someone knew something.

I seen some postings that suggestion using Windows Live Essentials. Although thats a temporary solution, I just want Outlook 2010 to work correctly.

I had a similar problem. I uninstalled my anti virus programme (Symantec Endpoint Protection in my case). Afterwards things works fine... Of course,afterwards, you need to install a Windows 8 compatible anti virus programme.
