Earth is interesting...
So with Internet explorer 10 out, I'm wondering if there is any changes in it and if it is now any better?

I think chrome is the fastest on windows right now, but on Mac fastest browser is safari...

Does ie10 compete at all to chrome or Firefox on windows?

And why is safari so slow on windows (never had it installed, just hear rumors) if they have high speeds on Mac, shouldn't they have faster speeds on windows?

Nowadays Chrome is fastest browser on windows right now. But if you launched IE 10 it opens fast like chrome.. So you can use Internet Explorer 10 side by side Google chrome. If you liked IE 10 performance go for it. Otherwise use Google Chrome.

Now 2nd question. Why is safari so slow on windows if they have high speed on mac??
Answer is Safari is browser of Apple Technologies. So they will make faster browser for their OS (Mac) and I think primary compatibility of Safari is Mac. And second compatibility is Windows.. :p.. So I hope they will make fast Safari for windows.

It's been mentioned somewhere that Mac has stopped its support to upgrade safari for window. Specifically, the final version of Safari available for Windows users is Safari 5.1.7. Think they have their very reason to discontinue their support to windows version.

So it's safe to say that IE10 is worth using, and not as useless as people say it is? It seems fine to me, but everyone whines that it is slow.

Can I ask, where do you guys really see these speed differences among browsers? With broadband speeds, to me, the difference in execution speeds within browsers seems totally negligible, but yet...I see people discuss this topic frequently.

    Windows 8 VM is install on his own SSD.
Well most of the time for me it's page loading time...

A lot of times it's lag when viewing html5 or 3d websites. Internet explorer doesn't do a great job of showing it correctly.

But mostly it's just wanting to have the best and fastest you can get out there.
