Screen layout in Metro mail Browser

I do not like the default screen layout in the standard Mail Browser: 3 columns with the actual contents of the selected mail on the right. As too much space is taken for the listing of the messages, the actual contents do not fit so that one has to scroll sideways to read.
Is there any way to change the layout?
