Hi there
to activate Enterprise version of Windows you can get a prompt box to enter your product key by using in elevanted or administrator mode the cmd SLUI.EXE 3

Important you need the 3 parameter or you won't get the window where you can enter the product key

I wasted 20 mins on this !!! so hopefully it will save others time.

Cheers

Nice, that you share the way with GUI input.

But is there any difference to the good old command line version:
slmgr -ipk ...key…

Hi Brink

Problem is with Enterprise W8 RTM version after install there is no way or any menu available to either activate windows or enter a product key.

You can use the cmd prompt to change it as a previous poster has suggested - or use the GUI command that I've suggested. Both are totally 100% valid. Take your choice.

Cheers

Hello Jimbo,

Please scroll down to see OPTION TWO at that tutorial link. You'll see it's the same. ;)

I'll get a separate tutorial more specific to Windows 8 created for it later though.
