Can I stop Windows 10 from installing?
I keep getting a pop-up message about Windows 10 on my Windows 8.1 PC. Now a message says Windows 10 will be installed on March 8th at 11pm. Is there a way I can stop that from happening?

Also, change your update settings to look like this for now,
Make sure you uncheck that box for getting recommended updates the same as important.
And the top option change to check but let me choose to download.
That won't make a big difference right now since you probably already have it downloaded if it says it will install.
We'll get to that shortly though.

Along with the other suggestions you should immediately backup everything on your PC including creating a backup image of your PC with a program like Macrium Reflect (Free) just in case you run into problems.
