Computer was upgraded from Windows 8 Pro (full retail) to Windows 10. 10 failed due to simulataneous login password and wifi failure . I re-installed Windows 8 Pro with a view to stopping at 8.1 this time. The OS will not activate stating that the key is for an upgrade only. I can find no way to activate by phone. I enclose Windows Diagnostic Report fwiw.

Awesome, once your PC is setup the way you want, create a backup (Macrium Reflect Free is good) that can be restored without having to go through all the malarkey again... ;)
