I have a desktop computer running Windows 8 Pro. I have tried repeatedly to upgrade it to Windows 8.1 and I get a message from the Windows Store that "Windows Store not available to Windows To Go workspace. I would like to get the free upgrade to Windows 10 on this computer, but I must upgrade to Windows 8.1 in order to qualify. Is there a way around this message or a fix for it?

Hi bstig60 welcome to the forums. If you go here, you can you can skip the upgrading form 8 to 8.1 to 10 through Windows update, and get the ISO and mount it in file explorer, then click setup.exe and can go from 8 directly to 10.

You can't upgrade Win8 to Win10 using Windows Update, but if you use the Media Creation Tool and download an ISO file and create a USB stick or DVD from that, you can then insert that and upgrade from that.
