Update Installation loop

Hi,
i am facing a problem with the Windows 8 Updates and i cant find a solution to it.

Windows is trying to install the same 10 updates over and over again. Everytime I restart, it installs them, everything looks fine, but on the next boot and restart it installs them again and so on

I attached a Photo of the Windows Update Window, there you can see the Updates.


Does anybody have an idea how to stop this? Any help is appreciated

If you do not intend uninstalling any of them in future, for whatever reason, try running this cmd and see if it helps..

Dism.exe /online /Cleanup-Image /StartComponentCleanup /ResetBase

thanks, but unfortunately that didn't help. Windows still wants to install those 10 updates. The strange thing is, Windows update also found a new update for NET Framework and Windows defender. Those 2 updates were too installed to on the latest restart. No problem with them. Just those 10 updates for Win 8.1 and IE11 are looping.

I guess it's probably cached data - you could try deleting that with the following commands:

net stop wuauserv
del c:\windows\SoftwareDistribution /q /s
net start wuauserv

The folder gets recreated once you check updates again.

Thanks again for the suggestion. Tried it multiple times with restarts inbetween, but still nothing. Some new flash update for IE installed just fine, but the 10 other updates keep reappearing
