Hi all,

I have searched many times but I can not find SP1 for W8.1 I don´t know either if Microsoft is planning on releasing it. Do you have any news ?, or do you think they will wait until Windows 10 is released ?

Thanks.
xD

It won't be released. Microsoft has released Update 1 though, which is kinda like a service pack. It was released in April 2014, so you should have it already installed.

They just expect everything to be pulled from Windows update. I just installed 8.1 on a new model laptop at work, and have been running Windows updates forever to get it up to date so I can grab a new image. With Office 2010 installed, and Lync 2013 this laptop (which I installed using WIndows 8.1 Pro with Update1), needed nearly 200 updates at around 2.5GB.

Of course. That means around 200 updates were released between April 2014 and now for Windows 8.1. And all the updates can also be downloaded from the Microsoft Download Centre.
