Yes, I have tried DISM and restorehealth, but sfc scan still fails, but I have messed up system logging, so that is the probable cause. Nevermind, I will install Windows 10 as soon as it released, in 1-2 months.
I have managed to install optional updates, run several SFC scans and it still has no description, curious.
BITS service was unable to start, because Windows Event Log service was unable to start
(it is not listed as BITS's dependent service, so it eluded me).
Once I have enabled all 3 eventlog tasks in perfmon, and restarted, it was fixed.
Third time's a charm? Microsoft releases third version of Windows patch KB 3022345 | InfoWorld
Microsoft reissues KB 3022345 patch, but does it solve Win8.1 installer failure? | InfoWorld5
It fails for me, not that I am complaining, I have it disabled anyway.
Well i am bit confused unless i missed something, KB3022345 is an update to enable Diagnostics Tracking services
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3022345 saying by doing this update it screwed up your system.
I did not put in this update as you see
But the service is already there an enabled
So is this an optional update to update this one i already have, even though it says update to enable this service, which it is enabled and there ?
Yup... Actually they rereleased 2 optional updates, because on some systems there were problems. Differences in hardware & software can cause problems for some & for others not. Microsoft try to compensate and correct them.
