On April 21, I had 20 Optional Windows updates, which I hid. Yesterday, there were 4 Optional Windows updates for download, then again today there are 4 Optional Updates for download. Anyone have any ideas about what is going on? Is this preparation for Windows 10? Microsoft trying to fix problems in 8.1? A new method to confuse users?
I try to read each one and be intelligent in my selections, but am not really sure that my interpretation is always in my best interests. One that really interested me today is KB3021910 which has some relation to DISM and source files if I read it right -
"( Deployment Image Servicing and Management (DISM) commands fail with a "0x800f0906" error if a Features on Demand command runs during a download process)".
It's all really confusing to me - God only knows what it's doing to some of my friends who are less technical than I!
