Yes he did and for the record there are problems with Windows updates more often then in the past and about once a year there is a serious issue, like a computer is unable to boot and so on. It is actually prudent to wait about a week before installing the newest updates, until no one reports any serious conflicts.

Just one quickly found example: Brazilian users unable to boot Windows after botched update

Did not say it was not possible to have issues with them, but not all as i said. Once a year, very low percentage wouldn't you think .
Be best to research them before installing updates.

Force SuperFetch to NOT ignore SSD.
Is there anyway to force SuperFetch in Windows 8.1 to not ignore SSD's? I like the way SuperFetch ran in Windows 7 on my SSD boot drive, it did not ignore the SSD and was more aggressive which made loading programs smoother if the program being loaded was already cached. Maybe through regedit...

Force updates installation during shut-down? (Win 7-like)
It seems that Windows 8 will only install some updates after a restart. No surprises here. However, since the Windows 8 "user" shutdown is not a real shutdown, but a hibernation (hence it will not be followed by a restart, and will not install updates), Windows 8 forces us to an extra...

Stalling on Windows Updates and Driver Updates
My updates and driver installs never finish because they always stop at a certain percentage and I have to eventually force shutdown the PC.
