Solved kb3005628 keeps installing

Hi, de ja vu here.
two PC's one has installed and keeps finding kb3005628 34 times! The other 3.
Am I safe to hide another borked update?

I have just formatted my PC and the same [h=2]kb3005628[/h]is happening to me grrrrr. any solutions anyone?

I googled it and it seems to be happening to lots. how viewing installed updates and seeing the same update successfully installed over 30 times and Windows doesn't realize there's an issue is laughable.
Same thing has happened before.

Yeah I had a quick Google search also and found other people with same issue, I was worried my format had gone wrong.
I have just deleted my windows update history so I don't have to see that ugly repeated install. Hope they fix it soon. How did they miss this in testing??

Try manually checking for updates and see if that clears it.

Apparently it's actually a hotfix remover. It removes 2 previous patches. Then installs a new one. The new one then flags the remover again. Lol!
Just hide it.

This was corrected shortly after initial release. I "hid" it for a few minutes and later it was gone from "hidden" and from uninstalled. Someone was fast on the correction.
