Last year i bought a Win 8 Single Languge disc, and installed on my desktop PC with no problems. Now i've changed my PC so i fomatted my win8 disc and reinstalled it. Now when i try to activate my LEGIT copy again it says it has gone over the activation limit. Was i swindled by the reseller (who said the key was like a "starter copy" with no other limitations)? And now i'm stuck with a worthless orginal win disc tied to some terrible hardware?
EDIT : To re-actívate i had to call Microsoft and do a telephone activation, where they asked me in how many machines was this key installed. I answered 1 (this current new hard) and everything went fine,
