hi!

i lost my "shop" tile completely after i installed some programs that i use Google crhome, skype, winrar, revo uninstaller etc.

is it because of these programs that i mentioned or is there some "bug" in windows?

Can moderator or someone move this to software and apps section?

If you right click a blank area on your apps page the All Apps button should appear at the bottom. Click that and see if it's still listed and then simply right-click and select Pin to Start.

Hi there

From the Charms (right hand logos)
Go to Search Apps and search for the store app
when you find it go to open File location
then do ADD to Start menu.

Cheers

That's too bad, how about searching from the Charms bar as previously suggested? If not then reset perhaps.

The OS itself should have a bug reporting button built in as an App until such time it's no longer preview/beta.

That might help communicate things back to M$.

Here are shortcut locations for the Windows Store.

c:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Windows Store.lnk

c:\Users\All Users\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Windows Store.lnk

c:\Windows\WinSxS\amd64_microsoft-windows-store-client-ui_31bf3856ad364e35_6.2.8250.0_none_9c947011c1a490cf\Windows Store.lnk

Those shortcuts link to this file.
% w i n d i r % \ W i n S t o r e \ W i n S t o r e U I . d l l

See if that file has been deleted.
If it has been deleted, then you probably will have to Refresh again.

If not, just find one of the shortcuts in the Folders listed above.
Right click on the .lnk file and choose Pin to Start.
