Solved Is there a way of activatng Windows 8.1 Pro N Edition?

When I called Microsoft they said No.

But then I come to think, how come the ISO is available to download then?

Don't try to activate a fake install with a legitimate key. If you buy the key then do a clean install - it will be much safer. You can download the ISO with no problem when you buy the key.

You can't install with a Media Center key by the way. Your install options are Core or Pro based on the key you enter. A Media Center key will be rejected during setup on a clean install. It will only work in Add Features on an already activated Windows 8.0 Pro or Windows 8.1 Pro install. Just in case you didn't know.

EDIT: I might have misunderstood what you said, you posted "Windows 8.1 Pro + WMC key" WMC means Windows Media Center to me but maybe you meant Media Player? If you meant Media Player then just ignore my post.
