As, with last month, I find that one of the oupdates yesterday (01/14) caused a significant increase in startup time. Previously, through process of elimination, I found that update KB2903939 was causing the slow-down. This month, it was one of four updates, none of which were critical, so I just System Restored my pc and hid the 4 updates.....strange this is happening again. I must have something screwed up either in start-up or my profile. Again, as last month 1 pc had no problem while another (same as last month) did. Both are running Windows 8.1 x64 and only small differences in setup. Any ideas where I might start to find a solution?
