Reinstalling W8 -- No Authentication Code on Back?

When I bought my most recent laptop with windows 8 (now ruined by a water spill) I noticed there was no COA (I think that's the name) sticker on the back to do a clean reinstall. When I get a new lappy, I want to do a clean reinstall, since I didn't like all the extra factory bloatware. How would I achive this, would I have to get on the phone w/ MS and talk it thru? Any Info on this will be much appreciated.

No need for the a product key to Reinstall Windows 8 Pre-install, as the key coded in to the BIOS.

Did you make the OEM manufacturer's Recovery Disks?

You can order the Microsoft official OEM Recovery disks from the OEM manufacturer's website.

The Recovery USB drive & Recovery Partition can be very problematic, I recommend you also make a Windows System Image.

look for a 3rd party ,Backup software, which fully supports Windows 8, uEFI, GPT & Secure Boot.

I'm sorry, I understand how to make a System Image, Repair Disk,Recovery Drive, do Imange recovery and all that Jazz, as I like to help out in Sevenforums. I don't want to do a Pre-Install, whatever you mean by that.
When I get my new W8 laptop (since that's all you can buy now) how would I install a Vanilla W8 and activate it with the product key that SHOULD be on the back anyways?

Itwill still require activation, but the Key will already have been entered during the install, by the installer itself.

so, do I have to go to options and activate over phone or on the Internet, just click the activate button or what? Windows 8 is a lot different than Windows 7. I may just buy a retail Copy of Win 7 some day for any future computers. I like to help out at Sevenforums, and don't come here much. I understand almost everything to know about windows 7, but a few little things-- like this, are a lot differant

The basic steps are still the same - in the Start Screen, start typing
SLUI 4
and hit return - the wizard should still come up.
