Hello, so recently, something strange has been occurring when installing a batch of Windows 8 updates; It seems as though when I install these updates and it sits at the screen which says "Configuring windows updates **%". The system then restarts. But after the windows boot logo dissapears, the screen displays no signal then the screen turns and it is blank (with no cursor) and then it displays no signal once again, then the screen turns on and it is blank. This process seems to repeat itself infinitely, whilst the HDD is working hard; doing something in the background, I left the computer alone for a few hours and it did not show any sign of working again. Has anyone else had this issue and has solved it somehow. I would like to install these updates, but unfortunately I don't know which update(s) is causing this. Can anyone tell me which update it may be so I can disregard that update and install the rest? I had managed to recover everything by doing a system restore. But I am afraid of installing these updates again. Please note that this cannot be a Graphics driver issue as after I recovered from a system restore I reviewed all of the updates that are meant to be installed and there are no Nvidia updates
Kind regards~
