Curious event in Event Viewer concerning 'with WMC'

I've noticed an intriguing event in Event viewer...

    Log Name: Application
    Source: Microsoft-Windows-Security-SPP
    Date: 25. 1. 2013. 8:13:00 PM
    Event ID: 8208
    Task Category: None
    Level: Error
    Keywords: Classic
    User: N/A
    Computer: *************

        <Provider Name="Microsoft-Windows-Security-SPP" Guid="{E23B33B0-C8C9-472C-A5F9-F2BDFEA0F156}" EventSourceName="Software Protection Platform Service" />

Googleing the error code, I get this.
You might see this error after you used the Add Features to Windows 8 app to upgrade your current edition of Windows. The Windows 8 Pro with Media Center edition can only be activated on PCs that had Windows preinstalled, or Windows was purchased on the Windows website or at a retail store. To fix the problem, you need to install Windows with the product key provided to you in an email or with the DVD. If you think you have received this message in error, contact a Microsoft Customer Support representative.
Please note that in my case this is not an error that springs during activation, it is an event logged at system start.

However, when I moved the Windows 8 installation from my daily use laptop which will keep the Windows 7 Ultimate(forever be praised) I got as a beta tester of 7, to my 'Windows 8 Pro with WMC perpetual test machine' (an older ''classic'' desktop tower) I had to use the automated phone system, both for the activation of Pro and for the activation of Pro with WMC and both succeeded. The Windows 8 Activation UI states I'm activated, I have a working WMC and no problems with updates, Store or anything else, and license diagnostics confirms this.
      <ProductName>Windows 8 Pro with Media Center</ProductName>
      <TimeZone>Srednja Europa - st. vrij.(GMT+01:00)</TimeZone>
      <ActiveSkuDescription>Windows(R) Operating System, RETAIL channel</ActiveSkuDescription>
Any thoughts? Should I be worried at all?

Well, i should probably update this thread. I contacted Microsoft support, which told me that they've never seen this kind of situation before, one by all accounts activated Windows 8 throwing this kind of errors. They surmised that Windows 8 Pro wasn't really activated on their side when I fired up the upgrade to WMC. (?!) It sure looked activated on my side. Whatever...

Nothing short of a reinstall could be done to help it, I've been told. So I've done it, it is just a 'demo' installation for me, I don't have anything other than browser installed on it. This time it didn't need phone activation, it did everything on its own. I guess the situation really really cleared up in the meantime.

Casualty? My Google mail account in Windows Mail. I had it syncing using EAS just great, and I've lost that.
Thank you Google for not being evil, yeah.

Now, you're activated and the issue has been solved.

That seems to have happened during the activation process... maybe a failed attempt... note the time when it happened in Event Viewer.
Afterwards it got fixed, if I understand correctly.

But thanks for showing that this kind of weird events can occur.
