Solved Lost windows 8 key

I have installed windows 8 on a SSD, which has since failed and dead, the data cannot be retrieved. I have by accident, deleted my online windows 8 purchase confirmation email. I even had a screen shot of the key but that is on the failed drive too.

Is there any way to retrieve the key from Microsoft? I have the transaction on my credit card statement, but I don’t recognize any order number either.

Solved! You cant retrieve the license key through any online means, but If you call Windows help line, they can resend you purchase confirmation email with license key.

Information they will ask:
Full name:
Order number: if you have one, but not required.
Email address:
last 4 digits of credit card:

Then done.
