Solved Win Pro 8 installed Build 9200- Media Center

I paid the $39.99 upgrade to my Win 7 laptop. HP Pavilion dv6 3122 for Windows 8.

I installed it. Then downloaded Windows Media Center trying to get DVD's to play.

Then my laptop showed I have Win 8 Pro Media Center Build 9200 and my OS is not activated.
I'm running set up again but have to wait several hours for it to download again.

I might have to return my laptop to Windows 7 or XP pro. Solutions.

Did you use the key that was emailed to you containing the WMC key? Moreover after the installation of WMC is over , you need to restart.

There is a limit of one upgrade per email account. I used another email address and was able to get a different workable security key this time. I assumed since I purchased two separate Win 8 licences for 2 computers that I could just apply for it. So my problem in solved.
