Can Win8 Be Installed More Than Once?

I have Win 8 Pro Upgrade which I installed over a Win 7 installation in VirtualBox. Now I would like to delete this installation and install my Win8 Pro on another VirtualBox VM. Will it install and activate on the new VM?

I also have ordered a System Builder version of Win 8. Will I be able to install it on more than one PC? Say I install it on PC1 then decide to return to Win7 on PC1. Will I be able to install and activate my Win8 on PC2?

on the VM thing, I don't understand why you want uninstall it and re install in another VM, you can not simply move the VM ?

I believe you can I reinstalled Windows 8 without a problem before so I think you should be able to.

He's talking about a different vm - a different pc.

System builder is fine to move - only on pc at a time.

Upgrade is retail so you should be able to move it too.

No idea if it will activate easily or you may need to call MS - try it and see.

I started a new thread because of no response here. See "Multiple Installation and Activation" in "Installation and Setup". Bottom line is that for different hardware, you will need to call MS.
