Awesome! I'm guessing I will have re install windows from CP, it wouldn't just be a regular update right? (which is ok because of that good old windows.old folder) Either way I'm looking forward to this. After being very skeptical, Windows 8 has grown on me for sure.

You can upgrade by running the setup.exe in the Sources folder, after copying the contents of the new .iso when mounted, to a hard drive folder.

If you currently have any Windows issues, then I recommend a custom install which then would leave the Windows.old folder, yes.

If you upgrade, I would remove any 3rd party security program(s) in safe mode with it/their specific removal tools, first.

As well as a full download and upgrade option it would be nice to have a service-pack- or anytime upgrade-like means of upgrading - an incremental upgrade - just to test the concept of course, and to save another Multi-GB download :)

Accidentally? Or purposely? Or they've just come to a thought that the new logo is too stiff and waveless: ;)
