Windows 8.1 Pro with Media Center

I saw that article over there. Anyway with the kind of shooting I do I can't even fill up my 32 gig Extreme Pro; and I'm shooting a D800E which kicks out 72+ meg RAW files.

Nice card but not for the normal everyday shooter.

Wouldn't last long if you were shooting 2160p video (~70 seconds?).

    Hi there

Where this WOULD be useful is for AUDIO recording at live gigs (including classical music / opera ) at LOSSLESS or very high quality audio. I'm currently using an older PRO minidisc recorder (minidiscs still used at PRO level) - the modern portable recorders often have fixed storage and recording time at HQ audio is limited - a 512GB card is "Just what the doctor ordered" - but at a price - i'm sure the cost of these will come down.

Asus S400CA not displaying SanDisk 24GB SSD
Shouldn't my SSD be viewable somewhere in windows 8.1? It's not unallocated in Disk Utility, just not there, but I can see it in bios, although I can't set it as a boot option. I'm confused because I thought my OS was on it, but I've been booting without it, so it may have never worked I've had...

Apple unveils new Cylindrical Macbook
Hi there I'm not sure if the market will really take to a top of the range MacBook with yet even MORE processing power -- OK some people will buy it - like some people will always buy a Ferrari - but I can't see this as being any more than a niche product. The machine though does look...

Autorun on Sandisk flash drive
I inserted a SanDisk Cruzer 16 GB flash drive in my Win 8 laptop, and a window opened that had the Sandisk logo and it said installing Sandisk files or something like that, with a progress bar that took about 20 seconds to move across. It was not the pop up bubble you generally see by the tray when...
