We always prioritize feedback from our customers. One thing we’ve heard loud and clear was the desire to have greater control over syncing your OneDrive files in Windows 8.1.
To that end, we recently released an update for OneDrive in Windows 8.1 that allows you to trigger a sync or pause an in-progress sync right from the system tray. Need to do something heavyweight on your connection and want to pause syncing? Go right ahead! Want to make sure you get every last file before you get on that flight? You can.
The update will continue being rolled out automatically in the coming weeks. If you haven’t gotten it yet and want to get the update right now, you can manually check for and install Microsoft Updates for Windows 8.1. As always, we’re excited to continue delivering new features and improved capabilities for OneDrive. We’ll continue listening for how we can improve OneDrive with more simple and intuitive control that delivers your OneDrive exactly the way you want it.
