Hands On with Windows 8 Consumer Preview

First Developers got a look, now it's time for the rest of us to try out Windows 8. Today at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, the leading OS maker unveiled Windows 8 Consumer Preview, making it available for the public to download and install on any Window 7-capable PC. It's available at Microsoft's Windows 8 Consumer Preview page.

Hmmm not bad. It works nicely on dual monitors. Can play with metro on one and have a regular desktop on the other. Takes some getting used to, but meh. It's alright. Still preferring Win7 at the moment, Win8 reeks of things I hated about android--highly dependent on the internet for everything.

On the side note, VMware is flawless. I feel like I'm running it on my own PC [barebone, not VM].
