    Windows 8 Major Improvements

Windows 8 improvements and innovative features designed to reinvent the file access wheel for branch offices are planned to debut soon, according to Microsoft. Planning for Windows 8, the successor of Windows 7, is already well under way, but thereā??s no way to tell yet if Microsoft will start the actual work on the DFSR (Distributed File System Replication ) file replication engine in Windows 8, or if the features will debut into the planning stage.

They have a stellar product in Windows 7, so I don't doubt for a second Windows 8 can be equal to or even better than 7.

I just hope Windows 8 will not turn out a flop or something that is geared all towards productiveness and they don't worry about the Gamers.

I hope it doesn't get bloated. With Windows 7 they removed most of the bloat added in Vista and left over from XP but the more features are requested the easier it is to lose sight of that. I don't think they will though, their server products continue to get lighter.

As long as it doesn't get any slower then windows 7, I am all for it. As soon as it starts looking like Vista v2, i'm out.

Well I'm giving MS the BOTD and hoping for the best until I can start judging one way or another once the first leaks hit.

I doubt they'll forget the response to Vista for some time.
