    Windows 8, beyond Windows 7

As long as they do beta programs like they did with Windows 7, they can't go wrong.

I just hope they can start being consistent. I'm glad that Microsoft has started providing us with wonderful applications such as Bing, Windows 7 and Microsoft Security Essentials. Even IE8 was great as compared to previous versions. If they are consistent or even better than last time, I'm sure Microsoft will be respected and live up to it's name of the world's best software creator.

What I'm hearing is the next OS (not 7) will be the last "Windows" OS, everything will be internet based.

    Agree...

Internet based cloud computing using an open-sourced browser... We'll have to wait and see, but trends are leading to that type of computing existence... seems kind of boring, no?
