Look on the bright side - at least it is going up.

Not sure the same can be said for win 8 sales. I have a feeling they are declining month on month.

How many % are low quality or redundant apps?

Both apple and android are very close to each other with an average of 700,000 apps. For android alone, there is like 20% low quality apps which is still over 500K of good apps. Apps will not be a solution to Windows 8 resurrection. Only a number of user even use the Metro UI. They need to listen to what the people want.
